We had a very good experience from Intermountain Wind and Solar on our solar panel installation. We have an older house so some upgrades were needed in the power box and they took care of all aspects to get us and running. Total time on install was 2 days and it was powered on 12 days later after Rocky Mountain Power approved it. Only one issue in a year and that was on me not knowing a new cable modem needed to be synced to the app because of the new mac address. Awesome customer service they had the phone app backup and running after a short phone call. No issues whatsoever with the system itself. Very fast and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar setup.

I ask a lot of detailed questions and my salesman, Bryson was able to answer them all satisfactorily, which impressed me.The project was expensive (IMO) but worth it, and well done.All the Intermountain Wind & Solar people did their job well and were responsive. It's still your project, so you have to have your head in the game (where are you going to place the panels, at what angle, etc.).I have large Cottonwood trees that shade my home and I didn't want to cut them, but I have a big enough yard that we could do a ground mount, so we did.I do recommend this company after you have them answer all your questions, and you still want to do it, great.I've only had the panels in about 2.5 weeks, but we had hurricane force winds this September, and no panels moved or were damaged, whew.My 21 panels are producing about as expected and should average enough production to eliminate my electricity charges, which is exciting.I'm interested to do a battery next, but one thing at a time.This is a great company to work with, and I am just a plain home owner probably like you. I don't give out 5 stars to everyone, but they did the job well, so they get it and my recommendation.Follow up: I later did add a Tesla Powerwall and that went smoothly as well.

I recently upgraded solar system to add 2 Tesla batteries for a total of 3, upgrade the Tesla gateway and upgrade of main panel. There was extensive rewiring involved. The installation and upgrade was completed in a very efficient and professional manner. Likewise, the design, permitting and scheduling was done in a very professional manner with frequent communication after each step. The system worked immediately and continues to work as expected. I strongly recommend consider IntermountainWind & Solar for the design, installation and/or upgrade of your solar and battery system. This very positive experience is in contrast the a very negative experience that I had with another company that had a national presence.

Intermountain Wind and Solar installed our solar panels on our new home in October 2021. They did a really good job, but unfortunately we had leaks from our roof in the winter of 2022-2023. There was so much snow on the roof that it took our builder a few trips to determine what the cause was. He found that it was caused by a long screw that was put in the wrong place and left which did result in leaking around that hole. The other leak was where a roof vent had been inadvertently leaned on during the solar panel installation. We asked our builder to go ahead and complete the repairs while he was on the roof and then he scheduled the sheetrock repair company to come in. We contacted Chris at Intermountain after all the repairs were completed and sent pictures and our receipts and he promptly contacted me and arranged for us to be reimbursed in a very timely manner. His help was very appreciated. I would recommend Intermountain Wind and Solar.

I have owned a system for 5 years by Evelar. Unfortunately they went out of business a few months after the install. I had a new roof put in and somehow the Wi-Fi in the system was not talking to my computer. Consequently, I had no idea the output on my system. Over a dozen times of trying to get the solar Wi-Fi talk to my computer with help on the phone technicians who knows where. After so many calls for over two years including the help with my two engineer sons, I still could not get it to communicate to me how much energy I was making. The customer service advised me that I would probably need to have a solar professional come out and that it could cost up to $300. I called Intermountain wind and Solar on a Friday afternoon. There was a gentleman named Chris that returned my call. After I explained to him my problem he said he would be at my house in 15 minutes. And he was! It took him about 15 minutes to find out what was wrong and fixed it! He was a very pleasant person, listened to me carefully, extremely intelligent, and had the understanding and knowledge to do a perfect job in an amazingly short time. I was so happy and and glad to pay any price. I asked Chris how he wanted me to pay him and he said, now get this, NOTHING! I love free. Free is good.One of the main reasons solar companies go out of business is because there is often very poor service. These guys have been around for for a long time and with guys like Chris, they will be around much longer. Thanks Chris.

I originally had IWS install 16 panels on my roof just before COVID to help offset my power bill. They did a very good job with installation and support after the sale. My system has worked well. Due to my concerns with higher Power prices and less Power on the grid due to Government regulation which is reducing the least expensive and most natural power sources we have, I decided to invest in additional panels and a battery to assist in being more independent of the grid. I had a very good experience with everyone at IWS especially Bryson Evans, my Sales Rep. who has been with them since I first started looking into solar in 2017.
